A10 Networks: 1Q Earnings Snapshot

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) _ A10 Networks Inc. (ATEN) on Thursday reported a loss of $12.3 million in its first quarter.

The San Jose, California-based company said it had a loss of 16 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense and non-recurring costs, were 9 cents per share.

The provider of networking technologies posted revenue of $50.3 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in July, A10 Networks expects its per-share loss to be 8 cents.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $51 million to $56 million for the fiscal second quarter.

A10 Networks shares have increased 17 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $7.29, a climb of 19 percent in the last 12 months.
