SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) _ A10 Networks Inc. (ATEN) on Tuesday reported a loss of $5.8 million in its second quarter.
The San Jose, California-based company said it had a loss of 8 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense and amortization costs, came to less than 1 cent on a per-share basis.
The provider of networking technologies posted revenue of $49.2 million in the period.
For the current quarter ending in October, A10 Networks expects its results to range from a loss of 4 cents per share to earnings of 3 cents per share.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $50 million to $54 million for the fiscal third quarter.
A10 Networks shares have risen 16% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $7.26, an increase of 6% in the last 12 months.
