Aaron Taylor-Johnson Reminds Fans on Instagram of His Upcoming Film ‘A Million Little Pieces’
The American drama film, ‘A Million Little Pieces’ is based on the book by the same name written by James Frey. The film is co-written by Sam Taylor-Johnson who is known for directing ‘Nowhere Boy’ and the first installment of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’.
Alongside Taylor-Johnson is her husband, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who is starring in the film as James Frey. Aron is known for his roles in ‘Kickass’, ‘Savages’, The Avengers films and ‘Nowhere Boy’.
The film was originally shelved by Warner Bros. after it became known that the author, James Frey, fabricated certain events when the book was sold and marketed as a memoir. Later on, the book was instead marketed as a semi-fictional novel.
The film follows the story of a 23-year-old alcoholic and drug abuser by the same name, James Frey. Taking place in 1993, Frey suffers an accidental fall due to his drug abuse. The incident becomes the last straw.
Frey’s older brother Bob Frey Jr. (Charlie Hunnam) sends him to rehab to follow the strict twelve-step program to overcome his addiction. ‘A Million Little Pieces’ follows his time in rehab and tells the story of drug addiction and its many challenges to recovery.
Frey meets individuals who become vital to his recovery and even falls in love, which is prohibited within the clinic. On July 25th, Aron shared on Instagram the official poster for the film and its premiere date in the UK for August 30th.
The first trailer for the film debuted on August 8th and Aaron also shared the good news on Instagram along with the premiere date for US cinemas on December 6th. Since then, Aaron has been actively promoting the film on social media.
He even gave fans a sweet photo alongside his costar Charlie Hunnam while sporting busted lips and some scrapes along his face. Hunnam, on the other hand, looks perfectly intact with a big smile along his face.
Aaron’s last Instagram post reminded fans of the film's US premiere alongside the film's trailer. The film director and Aaron’s wife, Sam Taylor Johnson, has also been busy on social media promoting and reposting from the film's official Instagram.

It also gives some beautifully shot stills of Sam and Aaron, alongside their costars, in their element on set. With the film's upcoming premiere and the amount of PR the actors are doing maybe it would be wise to secure some tickets.
