SAN ANTONIO (AP) _ Abraxas Petroleum Corp. (AXAS) on Wednesday reported second-quarter net income of $11.7 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the San Antonio-based company said it had profit of 7 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 2 cents per share.
The energy company posted revenue of $34.8 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit 67 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $2.35.
