NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (AP) _ Acacia Research Corp. (ACTG) on Thursday reported a loss of $10.6 million in its fourth quarter.
The Newport Beach, California-based company said it had a loss of 21 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 2 cents per share.
The technology patent licensor posted revenue of $22 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $54.1 million, or $1.08 per share. Revenue was reported as $152.7 million.
Acacia Research shares have declined 12 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $5.75, a climb of 60 percent in the last 12 months.
