Investing.com - Accenture reported second quarter earnings that beat analysts' expectations on Thursday and revenue that topped forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of $1.91 on revenue of $11.14B. Analysts polled by Investing.com forecast EPS of $1.72 on revenue of $11.09B. That compared to EPS of $1.73 on revenue of $10.45B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $2.09 on revenue of $11.36B in the previous quarter.


Accenture follows other major Technology sector earnings this month

On March 12, Oracle reported third quarter EPS of $0.97 on revenue of $9.8B, compared to forecasts of EPS of $0.96 on revenue of $9.75B.

Adobe earnings beat analysts' expectations on March 12, with first quarter EPS of $2.27 on revenue of $3.09B. Investing.com analysts expected EPS of $2.23 on revenue of $3.05B
