According to his cousin, even the Rock struggled with body issues in Hollywood
It’s safe to say WWE star and plus-size model Nia Jax made quite an impression on fashion fans this past week. Her runway debut at New York Fashion Week as part of theCURVYCon fashion show made a splash among fashionistas and wrestling fans alike. We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention that a little support from her famous cousin, Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson, helped stir up a attention for her spot in the center stage as well.

Jax touched on her superstar cousin in an exclusive interview for Yahoo Lifestyle, revealing that even the Rock had struggled with body issues upon his entry into Hollywood. Jax gives Johnson all the props for helping get her to a place where she could accept her own body — “he’s been the driving force behind me being so comfortable in my own skin,” she says. “He actually struggled being his size in Hollywood,” Jax reports in the video. “It’s just a whole different world.”
