EMERYVILLE, Calif. (AP) _ Adamas Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ADMS) on Thursday reported a loss of $23.4 million in its third quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Emeryville, California-based company said it had a loss of $1.04.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of $1.03 per share.
The drugmaker posted revenue of $1,000 in the period.
Adamas shares have risen 55 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $26.27, a rise of 94 percent in the last 12 months.
