LUXEMBOURG (AP) _ Adecoagro SA (AGRO) on Thursday reported a second-quarter loss of $31.2 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Luxembourg-based company said it had a loss of 27 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 77 cents per share.
The producer of agricultural products and renewable energy posted revenue of $215.9 million in the period.
Adecoagro shares have dropped 20 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $8.26, a decrease of 17 percent in the last 12 months.
