LUXEMBOURG (AP) _ Adecoagro SA (AGRO) on Thursday reported second-quarter net income of $23 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Luxembourg-based company said it had net income of 20 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 4 cents per share.
The producer of agricultural products and renewable energy posted revenue of $227.8 million in the period.
Adecoagro shares have dropped 17% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $5.79, a fall of 30% in the last 12 months.
