LUXEMBOURG, Sept. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Adecoagro S.A. (AGRO) ("Adecoagro" or the "Company") today announced the pricing of U.S.$500,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 6.000% Senior Notes due 2027 to be issued by the Company (the "Notes"). The Notes will be issued at a price of 100.000%. The Notes mature on September 21, 2027 and will be guaranteed on a senior unsecured basis by certain of the Company's subsidiaries. The Notes were offered in a private placement to qualified institutional buyers in accordance with Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act"), and outside the United States to non-U.S. persons in accordance with Regulation S under the Securities Act. The settlement of the Notes offering is expected to take place on September 21, 2017, subject to customary closing conditions.
The net proceeds from the Notes offering will be used by the Company to repay existing debt and for general corporate purposes.
