RAMSEY, N.J. (AP) _ Adma Biologics Inc. (ADMA) on Wednesday reported a loss of $11.4 million in its third quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Ramsey, New Jersey-based company said it had a loss of 19 cents.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 22 cents per share.
The infectious disease drug developer posted revenue of $7.2 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $5.7 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit $4.98. A year ago, they were trading at $5.49.
