Aelan Cell Technologies Names Dr. Marek Dobke to Its Scientific Advisory Board

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Dec 15, 2015) - Aelan Cell Technologies announced today the appointment of Dr. Marek Dobke to its Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Dobke is currently the Head of the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of California - San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine and a Professor of Surgery.

Dr. Dobke is an internationally renowned plastic surgeon who has special interest and clinical expertise in the use of autologous stem cells from adipose tissue in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery as well as skin rejuvenation. He is an expert in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and has pioneered an impressive spectrum of innovative techniques in wound healing.

Dr. Dobke, who is board certified in Plastic Surgery both in Poland and by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), boasts an impressive resume. After graduating from the Medical Academy in Gdansk, Poland, he accepted a position as a Burn Research Fellow at the University of Texas at Dallas, before training as a General Surgeon at Texas Tech and as a Plastic Surgeon at UCSD. Previous to his current position at UCSD, Dr. Dobke was the Chief of Plastic Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
