That compared to EPS of $0.67 on revenue of $1.2B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $0.71 on revenue of $1.24B in the previous quarter.
Agilent Technologies shares gained 4.50% to trade at $68.53 in after-hours trade following the report.
