SAN DIEGO (AP) _ Airgain Inc. (AIRG) on Thursday reported a third-quarter loss of $135,000, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The San Diego-based company said it had a loss of 1 cent per share. Earnings, adjusted for stock option expense and non-recurring costs, came to 5 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was breakeven on a per-share basis.
The antenna products developer posted revenue of $13.1 million in the period.
For the current quarter ending in December, Airgain expects its per-share earnings to range from 4 cents to 5 cents.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $13 million to $13.5 million for the fiscal fourth quarter.
Airgain shares have risen 13% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $11.22, a decline of 18% in the last 12 months.
