Alabama, Penn State, Georgia and TCU make up top 4 of AP poll

As Alabama stays at No. 1 in the AP poll teams are making moves behind the Tide.

Penn State moved up to No. 2 while Georgia is now at No. 3 and TCU is at No. 4. Rounding out the top five is Wisconsin.

The four teams in the preceding paragraph all jumped spots after No. 2 Clemson’s loss Friday night to Syracuse and No. 5 Washington’s loss to Arizona State Saturday night. Clemson fell five spots to No. 7 while Washington dropped seven spots to No. 12.

No. 8 Washington State fell to No. 15 after losing to Cal Friday night and No. 10 Auburn dropped 11 spots following its loss to previously unranked LSU, who is back in the poll at No. 24.

Memphis enters the poll at No. 25 after beating previously ranked and undefeated Navy at home. West Virginia also re-enters the top 25 after beating Texas Tech, who fell out of the poll.
