Alabama is No. 1 in another poll.

The Crimson Tide topped the USA Today Coaches Poll earlier this month. On Monday, the Associated Press’ annual preseason Top 25 was unveiled, and Nick Saban’s bunch again topped the field for the second time in the last three years.

The Tide’s Week 1 opponent, Florida State, came in at No. 3, only adding to the stakes for the Chick-fil-a Kickoff Game in Atlanta on Sept. 2. Between Alabama and Florida State is Ohio State at No. 2, one of three Big Ten teams in the Top 10.

Coming off its Rose Bowl victory over Penn State, USC is No. 4 in the poll, ahead of defending national champions Clemson at No. 5 and the Nittany Lions at No. 6. The rest of the top 10 is rounded out by Big 12 champions Oklahoma at No. 7, defending Pac-12 champs Washington at No. 8, Wisconsin at No. 9 and Oklahoma State at No. 10.

Here is how the rest of the Top 25 shakes out:

11. Michigan
12. Auburn
13. LSU
14. Stanford
15. Georgia
16. Louisville
17. Florida
18. Miami
19. USF
20. Kansas State
21. Virginia Tech
22. West Virginia
23. Texas
24. Washington State
25. Tennessee

The SEC leads the way with six ranked teams, edging the Big 12 and ACC with five apiece. The Big Ten has four ranked teams, three in the Top 10 with Michigan the lowest-ranked at No. 11. The Pac-12 also has four ranked teams and USF of the AAC is the only ranked team from the Group of 5.
