Alec Baldwin Trashes Alleged Assault Victim in Court Battle Over Parking Spot Fight
Alec Baldwin is ripping the man accusing him of assault and calling the alleged victim a liar in court.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the actor is back in court fighting a man named Wojciech Cieszkowski.
Earlier this year, Cieszkowski sued Baldwin accusing him of assault, battery and slander. He accused the actor of punching him in the face over a parking spot. Baldwin has denied all allegations of wrongdoing.
Baldwin’s motion reads, “Cieszkowski sued Alec Baldwin for “assault” and “battery” more than four months after a brief encounter between Cieszkowski and Baldwin left Cieszkowski needing at most only one dose of Tylenol to cure his supposed “injuries.”
He continues, “Cieszkowski also brought a meritless claim for slander against Baldwin based on two lighthearted and humorous interviews with television and radio talk show hosts Ellen DeGeneres and Howard Stern during which Baldwin never even uttered Cieszkowski’s name.”
Baldwin is asking a judge to not force him to turn over documents to Cieszkowski, until a decision is made on his motion to dismiss.

He adds, “the only real issue: did Cieszkowski lie when he alleged that Baldwin punched him in the face and caused him substantial physical injuries. The answer is yes, as the evidence will demonstrate, and the case will then be over without the circus and phishing expedition that Cieszkowski is attempting to create.”
Earlier this year, Wojciech Cieszkowski sued Baldwin accusing him of assault, battery and slander. He accused the actor of punching him in the face over a parking spot.
Cieszkowski also took issue with Baldwin appearing on “The Ellen Show” following the incident. He claimed Cieszkowski “was going to run my wife over with his car when he was stealing my parking spot.” He sued seeking unspecified damages.
Baldwin has denied the allegations of assault. In court docs he wrote, “Cieszkowski is trying to turn a minor altercation over a parking spot into a multi-million-dollar lottery ticket.”
Cieszkowski recently demanded Baldwin handed over a ton of documents and private messages.
Cieszkowski requested all social media posts Baldwin made about the incident “including unpublished drafts of such postings”, all communications between his lawyers and the Manhattan DA, list of people he spoke to in the 48 hours following the incident and even the names of the publicists he hired.
The alleged victim is also asking for all documents “concerning your February 4, 2019 interview on The Ellen Show, including any communications with a booker, producer, or other staff person associated with the show concerning the nature, purpose, or anticipated subject matter of the interview.” He wants the same set of documents relating to a sit-down Baldwin did with Howard Stern in March 2019.
Baldwin has objected to turning over the documents in the case. He also believes the discovery demands are overbroad and seeking too much from him. A judge has yet to rule.
In November 2018, Baldwin was arrested in New York for allegedly punching Cieszkowski over the parking spot. He was booked for assault and harassment.
He would officially be charged with attempted assault in the 3rd degree, a misdemeanor, and harassment in the 2nd degree, a violation.
According to court records, the complaint made by the alleged victim stated, "I observed the defendant push me and then strike me across the left side of my face with his closed right hand, resulting in pain to my face."
Records also show that Baldwin initially exclaimed to cops about the alleged victim, "He's an a--hole. He stole my spot," and then admitted, "I did push him."
Baldwin later pled guilty to a second-degree violation of harassment and the of attempted assault and harassment charges were dropped. He avoided jail time and was sentenced to anger management classes and hit with a small fine.
