Alicia Keys announces first tour in 7 years and release date for new album
Confirming that a new album is on the way, Alicia Keys will hit the road for her first full-scale tour since 2013.
The piano-pop-soul star's four-month trans-Atlantic tour is scheduled to kick off in Ireland in June.
Tickets go on sale Monday. A presale window for American Express cardholders will run from 10 a.m. Wednesday through 10 p.m. Sunday.
Sunday, Keys will host the Grammys for the second year in a row. With 15 Grammy wins, she's certainly qualified.
"It’s almost like a marathon: You can’t just run a marathon (once)," Keys said of her desire to host a second time. "I feel like now, more than ever, I’m familiar with the space on multiple levels. It’s going to be an exciting, inclusive, beautiful experience, and that’s what I want to create.”
