FT. MYERS, Fla. (AP) _ AliCo. (ALCO) on Tuesday reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $7.5 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Ft. Myers, Florida-based company said it had net income of $1.01. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $1.24 per share.
The agribusiness and land management company posted revenue of $48.5 million in the period.
Alico shares have declined roughly 9% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $26.91, a fall of 18% in the last 12 months.
