ALPHARETTA, Ga. (AP) _ Alimera Sciences Inc. (ALIM) on Monday reported a loss of $5 million in its second quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Alpharetta, Georgia-based company said it had a loss of 7 cents.
The eye drug developer posted revenue of $10.9 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Monday, the company's shares hit 89 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $1.08.
