ALPHARETTA, Ga. (AP) _ Alimera Sciences Inc. (ALIM) on Tuesday reported a third-quarter loss of $3.1 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Alpharetta, Georgia-based company said it had a loss of 4 cents per share.
The eye drug developer posted revenue of $12.9 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company's shares hit 34 cents. A year ago, they were trading at 92 cents.
