SUNNYVALE, Calif. (AP) -- Alliance Fiber Optic Products Inc. said Thursday it will conduct a two-for-one stock split.
The company will issue the new shares Sept. 16 to shareholders of record as of Aug. 30. Alliance Fiber Optic Products had about 9 million shares on the market as of Aug. 1 and will have 18.1 million after the split.
Its shares fell $1.95, or 6.2 percent, to $28.92 on Thursday. They have traded between $8.80 and $35.37 in the last year.
