CARLSBAD, Calif. (AP) _ Alphatec Holdings Inc. (ATEC) on Thursday reported a loss of $13 million in its first quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Carlsbad, California-based company said it had a loss of 29 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and to account for discontinued operations, came to 20 cents per share.
The medical equipment and supplies holding company posted revenue of $24.6 million in the period.
Alphatec expects full-year revenue in the range of $98 million to $103 million.
The company's shares closed at $3.78. A year ago, they were trading at $3.64.
