CARLSBAD, Calif. (AP) -- Surgical instrument maker Alphatec Holdings said Tuesday it expects to report about $50.1 million in revenue for the third quarter, up 7 percent from the same period last year, as surgeons and hospitals used more of its products.
Analysts projected $48.5 million in revenue, according to FactSet.
The parent of Alphatec Spine is scheduled to report its quarterly results Nov. 7.
Shares of Alphatec Holdings Inc. rose 3 cents to $1.93 Tuesday, and they were unchanged in aftermarket trading. The stock is up 17 percent this year.
