BRAINTREE, Mass. (AP) _ Altra Industrial Motion Corp. (AIMC) on Friday reported first-quarter profit of $35.2 million.

The Braintree, Massachusetts-based company said it had net income of 55 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 80 cents per share.

The industrial products company posted revenue of $482.8 million in the period.

Altra expects full-year earnings in the range of $3.02 to $3.18 per share, with revenue in the range of $1.92 billion to $1.95 billion.

Altra shares have increased 38 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 22 percent in the last 12 months.
