EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) _ Amber Road Inc. (AMBR) on Thursday reported a loss of $3.2 million in its first quarter.
The East Rutherford, New Jersey-based company said it had a loss of 11 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense, came to 4 cents per share.
The software maker posted revenue of $20.1 million in the period.
For the current quarter ending in July, Amber Road expects its results to range from a loss of 8 cents per share to a loss of 6 cents per share.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $20.4 million to $21 million for the fiscal second quarter.
Amber Road expects full-year results to range from a loss of 26 cents per share to a loss of 15 cents per share, with revenue ranging from $84 million to $87 million.
Amber Road shares have climbed 28 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $9.36, a rise of 21 percent in the last 12 months.
