American set to begin flights from Dallas to Peru

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -- American Airlines was set Monday to begin daily flights between Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and Lima, Peru.

The airline said it has seen more demand for travel to Peru. It said the route would also expand choices for one-stop travel between South America and Asia through Dallas.

Southbound flights will leave Dallas at 5:25 p.m. CDT, and northbound ones will leave Lima at 1:40 a.m., local time.

American already flies between Lima and Miami.
