American Software: Fiscal 3Q Earnings Snapshot

ATLANTA (AP) _ American Software Inc. (AMSWA) on Wednesday reported fiscal third-quarter profit of $2.3 million.

On a per-share basis, the Atlanta-based company said it had profit of 7 cents. Earnings, adjusted for amortization costs and stock option expense, were 10 cents per share.

The enterprise software provider posted revenue of $27 million in the period.

American Software shares have climbed 10 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $11.53, a decline of nearly 4 percent in the last 12 months.
