American Tower Earnings Beat, Revenue Inline In Q1

Investing.com - American Tower (NYSE:AMT) reported first quarter earnings that Beat analysts' expectations on Friday and revenue that was inline with forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of $0.89 on revenue of $1.81B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $0.85 on revenue of $1.81B. That compared to EPS of $0.63 on revenue of $1.74B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $0.62 on revenue of $2.13B in the previous quarter.

American Tower shares gained 0.25% to trade at $193.31 in intra-day trade following the report.

On April 25, Amazon.com reported first quarter EPS of $7.09 on revenue of $59.7B, compared to forecasts of EPS of $4.7 on revenue of $59.68B.
