On a per-share basis, the Cranbury, New Jersey-based company said it had a loss of 69 cents. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 41 cents per share.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 31 cents per share.
The pharmaceutical company posted revenue of $10.9 million in the period, surpassing Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $9.9 million.
Amicus Therapeutics shares have nearly tripled since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 91 percent in the last 12 months.
