Analyst: Fire Apple's CEO

Tim Cook, CEO of Apple (AAPL), is facing calls to be canned by Global Equities Research analyst Trip Chowdhry, who lamented what he sees as the Cupertino, Calif.-based tech giant's lack of innovation since the '11 death of co-founder and CEO Steve Jobs. While Apple shares are down 25% since Sept. '12, the S&P 500 is up 27% and Nasdaq is up 36% during the same period, he said. Chowdhry also called for CFO Peter Oppenheimer, who is stepping down in Sept., to be replaced. Shares rose 0.1% to 530.92.
