The Indianapolis-based company said it had a loss of 17 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 2 cents per share.
The consumer reviews service posted revenue of $181.7 million in the period, falling short of Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $206.6 million.
Angie's List shares have increased 43 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $11.74, an increase of 57 percent in the last 12 months.
