BEDFORD, Mass. (AP) _ Anika Therapeutics Inc. (ANIK) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter profit of $7.7 million.

On a per-share basis, the Bedford, Massachusetts-based company said it had net income of 54 cents.

The medical technology company posted revenue of $27 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $18.7 million, or $1.27 per share. Revenue was reported as $105.6 million.

Anika shares have climbed 20 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $40.49, a drop of 32 percent in the last 12 months.
