Antero Midstream Partners: 2Q Earnings Snapshot

DENVER (AP) _ Antero Midstream Partners LP (AM) on Wednesday reported second-quarter net income of $109.5 million.

The Denver-based company said it had net income of 41 cents per share.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 43 cents per share.

The partnership that owns oil-gathering pipelines for Antero Resources posted revenue of $251 million in the period, which topped Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $233.2 million.

Antero Midstream Partners shares have risen 12 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $32.57, a decline of roughly 6 percent in the last 12 months.
