On September 29, 2020, AppHarvest and Novus Capital Corp. (Nasdaq: NOVS) (“Novus Capital”) announced a definitive agreement for a business combination that would result in AppHarvest becoming a public company. The transaction announced between Novus Capital and AppHarvest is expected to close in the first quarter of 2021.
