Apple enables rival map apps

Following its iOS 6 maps app flap, Apple (AAPL) has now made it easier for users to add Google (GOOG) and Nokia (NOK) maps to their iPhones. Following CEO Tim Cook's apology Fri., Apple added step-by-step directions on how to add Google and Nokia maps to iPhone home screens. Apple's Maps software was harshly criticized after it provided incorrect addresses. Apple shares fell 1.2% to 659.39. Google rose 1% to 761.78 and Nokia rose 7.2% to 2.76.
