PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ Aramark Holdings Corp. (ARMK) on Tuesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $175.5 million.
The Philadelphia-based company said it had profit of 69 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 70 cents per share.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 71 cents per share.
The provider of food, facilities and uniform services posted revenue of $3.91 billion in the period, which also fell short of Street forecasts. Eight analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $3.93 billion.
For the year, the company reported profit of $567.9 million, or $2.24 per share. Revenue was reported as $15.79 billion.
Aramark shares have dropped 19 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 19 percent in the last 12 months.
