Arcadia Biosciences: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

DAVIS, Calif. (AP) _ Arcadia Biosciences Inc. (RKDA) on Wednesday reported a loss of $646,000 in its fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Davis, California-based company said it had a loss of 14 cents.

The agricultural biotechnology trait company posted revenue of $444,000 in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $13.5 million, or $3.58 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.5 million.

Arcadia Biosciences shares have more than doubled since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $6.96, a drop of 74 percent in the last 12 months.
