PEMBROKE, Bermuda (AP) _ Argo Group International Holdings Ltd. (AGII) on Thursday reported a third-quarter loss of $61.3 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Pembroke, Bermuda-based company said it had a loss of $2.04 per share. Losses, adjusted for investment costs, came to $1.91 per share.
The property and casualty insurance underwriter posted revenue of $439.2 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $433.2 million.
Argo Group shares have decreased almost 7 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 6 percent in the last 12 months.
