It wasn't long after Ariana Grande's album Sweetener dropped that fans noticed something special about the final track titled "Get Well Soon."

As many people noted on social media, the song ends with 40 seconds of silence, bringing the track's length to five minutes and 22 seconds. These details brought many fans to believe that "Get Well Soon" was meant to pay a tribute to the 22 victims of the Manchester Bombing, which took place at Ariana's concert on May 22, 2017. Earlier this year, Ariana explained that the song was meant to touch upon her mental health in the wake of the attack, although the track doesn't mention the incident explicitly.

Now, the singer-songwriter is opening up further about the importance of "Get Well Soon." As noted by Billboard, Ariana addressed the powerful song in an interview with Ebro for Beats 1, revealing that it was meant to offer a "musical hug" to anyone going through something difficult.

Fighting back tears, Ariana further explained: "It's just about being there for each other and helping each other through scary times and anxiety. There's just some dark sh*t out there, man. We just have to be there for each other as much as we can. You just never f*cking know."

The singer-songwriter went on to say that "Get Well Soon" is really about "personal demons and anxiety and more intimate tragedies as well," stressing that "mental health is so important." Ariana went on to explain that despite everything else going on in our lives, it's essential to pause and focus on our own well-being, too. "People don't pay enough mind to [mental health] because we have things to do," she said. "We have schedules; we have jobs; we have kids and places to be, pressure to fit in, Instagram stories, whatever f*cking facade trying to keep up. People don't pay attention to what's happening inside."

Ariana makes some important points, as it's always important to take time for your health — whether that's physical or mental. It's clear that her words have also resonated with fans, who continue to talk about the song's impact on social media. "I just don't have the words right now. She has my entire heart. @ArianaGrande you're an angel," one fan wrote. And another summed it up with this powerful tweet: "[Ariana is] always there for us in the darkest moments, sometimes without even knowing. That song can forever be a reminder that even if we don’t have anyone else, we have her."
