AUSTIN, Texas (AP) -- Medical product maker ArthroCare Corp. said Tuesday that it completed the acquisition of ENTrigue Surgical Inc. for about $45 million in cash.
The purchase price also includes potential milestone payments over the next five years if certain sales-growth goals are met, the company said.
ENTrigue designs and develops implants, disposables and instruments for endoscopic sinus surgery. It will operate within ArthroCare's ENT product area, ArthroCare said.
Shares of Austin, Texas-based ArthroCare slipped 9 cents to $34.79 in morning trading. They have traded in a 52-week range of $27.21 to $36.99.
