Ashley Graham makes a major statement with sheer little black dress

Ashley Graham shows the world (well, the world of Instagram) once again that she was born to be a supermodel. Despite the many attacks she has received on social media lately regarding her weight, the brunette stunned in Florida while attending an event for Revlon. Graham is the first curvy model to be the face of the makeup line.

The 30-year-old wore an elegant calf-length black dress with a sheer side cutout – showing off her skin from her ankle to her armpit – and gold-studded details throughout. The sexy dress hugged her figure and left little to the imagination. Graham completed the look with gold strappy sandals. Her hair was picked up in a high ponytail, and for makeup, she rocked a smoldering smoky eye.

As if her multiple career achievements weren’t enough to prove her supermodel status, Graham recently had to call out the haters who say she is just a “fat model” and, therefore, not a “real model.”

She said: “I know I’m being a little petty by posting these stupid photos of somebody who wrote ‘real model’ and ‘fat model,’ but I will let you know nothing defines what a ‘real’ model or a ‘fat’ model or ‘fake’ model is,” she told her followers.

“Your weight, your skin, your hair, your religious background — none of that determines whether you’re a ‘real’ model or not,” she added.

“So all those girls out there who have dreams and hopes, keep fighting for them and don’t let all the losers on Instagram stop [you].”

Graham has always been a fierce advocate for body positivity and inclusion, proclaiming women of all shapes and sizes are “real women” and beautiful. She reposted a photo of herself while reiterating the inclusivity message in her Instagram story.

Although Graham might have a few naysayers online, that number is overshadowed by her fans who overwhelmingly support her and identify with her message. She shared a couple of photos of many of her followers posing in her bikini line, Swimsuits For All.

A fan wrote, “Thank you so much for being such an inspirational person, I want to be a petite model and your words always give me inspiration and power to keep going forward, thank you so much again.”

Another commenter added, “I love seeing these women look beautiful and proud in your suits. Makes me glad to be raising my daughter in a world that can be better defined by ALL kinds of beautiful.”
