NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) _ Aspen Aerogels Inc. (ASPN) on Thursday reported a loss of $14.1 million in its fourth quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Northborough, Massachusetts-based company said it had a loss of 59 cents. Losses, adjusted for asset impairment costs, came to 35 cents per share.
The maker of insulation products posted revenue of $35.7 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $34.4 million, or $1.45 per share. Revenue was reported as $104.4 million.
Aspen Aerogels expects a full-year loss of 61 cents to 53 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $126 million to $134 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit $3.59. A year ago, they were trading at $4.44.
