MASON, Ohio (AP) _ AtriCure Inc. (ATRC) on Wednesday reported a loss of $9.4 million in its third quarter.
The Mason, Ohio-based company said it had a loss of 25 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 33 cents per share.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 28 cents per share.
The medical device maker posted revenue of $56.6 million in the period, which topped Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $55.6 million.
AtriCure expects full-year revenue in the range of $227 million to $229 million.
AtriCure shares have declined 11% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $27.15, a drop of 12% in the last 12 months.
