AudioEye and La Frontera Innovations Select Iveda Solutions Cloud-Hosted Video Surveillance Services for Monitored Affordable Housing Initiative

New Technology Solution Designed to Enhance Independent Extended Living for the Elderly

TUCSON, AZ--(Marketwired - Dec 9, 2013) - AudioEye®, Inc. (OTCQB: AEYE) ("AudioEye" or the "Company"), creator of the Audio Internet™ patented audio browsing and automated publishing technology platform, today announced that, along with La Frontera Innovations ("La Frontera"), it has selected Iveda Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB: IVDA) to provide cloud-hosted video surveillance services via the integration of Software-as-a-Service ("SaaS") platforms to achieve a first-of-its-kind solution for monitored affordable housing for the elderly.

AudioEye is integrating its Audio Internet™ SaaS platform with Iveda Solutions' video surveillance capabilities to deliver a set of behavioral health product lines. La Frontera, a key technology partner for AudioEye, has developed and owns specific affordable monitored housing technologies, including automated prescription delivery systems. La Frontera will utilize the integrated Iveda and AudioEye service platform to enable elderly residents in its affordable housing communities to access private, secured, and monitored technologies that can enhance and extend independent living arrangements for seniors. The technology developed by La Frontera is also designed to significantly reduce the cost of caring for the residents in its extended living communities.

IvedaXpress will play a key role in the centralized management of monitored affordable housing by providing access to real-time and recorded video without the complexities associated with traditional CCTV systems. Furthermore, Iveda's cloud-based systems comply with the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ("HIPAA"). When combined with AudioEye's Audio Internet, La Frontera will be able to deliver customized audio tracks to elderly residents, such as "Grandma, it's time to take your medicine." A track for the Audio Internet delivery platform can be developed in the voice of a grandchild, daughter or son of the resident. In addition, Iveda's Video-Surveillance-as-a-Service ("VSaaS") solution will allow family members to view secure real-time or recorded video and engage in face-to-face communication with the resident. AudioEye's Audio Internet will also have the ability to monitor verbal cues from residents and trigger alerts, access monitored services, and provide other features that have been and are being developed by La Frontera.

IvedaXpress is supported by a best-in-class, secure data center. There is no need for a local recording device, such as a DVR, since the video data is stored remotely in the "cloud", thereby eliminating the risk of video footage being destroyed or stolen. Additionally, authorized users can access their live and recorded video remotely -- whenever and wherever they need it most -- from computers, tablets or smartphones.

"La Frontera's vision is to couple affordable senior housing with supportive services and adaptive technologies that will allow seniors to age in place," noted Dr. Dan Raneri of La Frontera. "This is especially critical as the large number of baby boomers begin to reach their golden years in a system that lacks the capacity to meet their growing needs affordably."

"We are developing a large business opportunity within the behavioral health space, powered by our SaaS technology platform," commented Nathaniel Bradley, Chief Executive Officer of AudioEye, Inc. "It will be exciting to see where we can take this, as we believe the technological capabilities developed with La Frontera and Iveda Solutions are inspiring and breakthrough in nature. La Frontera is among the most innovative organizations in behavioral health, and we are continually humbled by their great works in our community."

"We at Iveda Solutions are delighted that our IvedaXpress cloud video hosting service was selected by AudioEye and La Frontera for use in their monitored affordable housing initiative," stated David Ly, Chief Executive Officer of Iveda Solutions, Inc. "I am personally very excited to be partnering with two innovative organizations in the health care industry. From prior encounters, I have learned that the growth of senior populations around the world is rapidly outpacing overall population growth and that there is a great need to provide adequate care for seniors. Our remote, secure patient monitoring solutions can leverage the technology innovations developed by AudioEye and La Frontera. We look forward to enhancing peace of mind for seniors and their families, while extending residence independence through our cloud-based technology. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then the combination of video and audio is priceless."
