LONDON, Jan. 22, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Autolus Therapeutics plc (AUTL), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing next-generation programmed T cell therapies, today announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering in the United States of 7,250,000 American Depositary Shares (“ADSs”) representing 7,250,000 ordinary shares at a public offering price of $11.00 per ADS, for total gross proceeds of approximately $80.0 million. All ADSs sold in the offering were offered by Autolus. In addition, Autolus has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,087,500 ADSs at the public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions. The offering is expected to close on January 27, 2020, subject to customary closing conditions.
J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Jefferies LLC are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. William Blair & Company, L.L.C. is acting as lead manager. H.C. Wainwright & Co., LLC is acting as co-manager.
