WALTHAM, Mass. (AP) _ Avedro Inc. (AVDR) on Wednesday reported a loss of $7.4 million in its second quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Waltham, Massachusetts-based company said it had a loss of 43 cents.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 52 cents per share.
The ophthalmic medical technology company posted revenue of $10.3 million in the period.
Avedro expects full-year revenue in the range of $38 million to $41 million.
