SAN DIEGO (AP) _ Axos Financial (AX) on Tuesday reported fiscal fourth-quarter earnings of $40.6 million.
The San Diego-based company said it had net income of 66 cents per share.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 66 cents per share.
The bank holding company posted revenue of $164.9 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $123.7 million, which did not meet Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $124.9 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $154.8 million, or $2.48 per share. Revenue was reported as $491.4 million.
Axos Financial shares have risen 10% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $27.73, a drop of 28% in the last 12 months.
