CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) _ Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises Inc. (BW) on Thursday reported a loss of $265.6 million in its second quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Charlotte, North Carolina-based company said it had a loss of $2.12. Losses, adjusted for asset impairment costs and to account for discontinued operations, came to 25 cents per share.
The power generation equipment company posted revenue of $291.3 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit $1.87. A year ago, they were trading at $9.75.
